Glen Rye

Glen Darrell Rye passed away April 22, 2012 at Patient’s Choice Medical Center. He was born August 2, 1934 in Houston County; Tn.son of the late Carl Rye and Grace Norfleet Rye. Darrel was a member of Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge # 300, and co-owner of Rye Brothers Construction. A celebration of life will be 11am Wednesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Burgess and Bro. Roy Weaver officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Tuesday and from 9am until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.Survivors include his wife Juanita G.Rye, his Children Candy (David) Hicks, Jackie Goins, Tesi Conte.Grandchildren Chris Hicks, Eric Conte, Kevin Conte, Lauren Conte Cordova, three great grandchildren, three step children Debbie Campbell, Ronnie Gammel, Tommy Gammel, five step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, one brother C.J. (Irene) Rye, one sister Patsy (Jimmy) Porch, four sister in laws, one brother in law, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Tommy Porch, Tony Porch, James Porch, Ken Rye, T.J.Hammons, and Tommy Gammel.
