Gladys Young

Gladys Irene Young, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday and 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Gladys entered into this life on September 1, 1923 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee, daughter to Porter and Maggie Whitfield Kennedy. She was retired from a career with the U.S. Postal Service where she worked at the St. Bethlehem office. She was a member of the church family at First Baptist Church St. Bethlehem.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Young. Survivors include her loving family which includes her children, Ricky Young and wife Debbie and Nancy Bagwell, all of Clarksville, and her sister, Betty Rone of Clarksville. She was the loving grandmother of Mary Beth Tamboia and husband Glenn, Clark Young and wife Julie, and Melody Bagwell and great grandchildren, Hunter George, Natalie Tamboia, Kailyn George, Allison Tamboia, and Mylie Bryan.
Pallbearers will be David Rone, Glenn Kennedy, Kevin Kennedy, Bruce Kennedy, Charlie Rone, Charles Wall, Glenn Tamboia, and Clark Young.
