Gladys Marie Winfrey, 79 of Clarksville, went to be with her Lord, Monday, October 2, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Excell Baptist Church with Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at Excell Baptist Church.
Gladys was born January 5, 1938 in Hamilton, AL, daughter of the late, Harley and Zora Mae Morrow Davis. She was retired from Acme Boot Company, and a member of Excell Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, George Braxton Winfrey; sons, Randall (Donna) Winfrey and Braxton Clay (Cynthia) Winfrey; grandchildren, Joshua, Rebecca, Christie, Kaycee, Trevor, Tyler and William; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
