Gladys Knight - 1919 Gladys Macel Knight, 90, Melvindale,Mi, died Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Heritahe Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2pm Thursday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.Paul Moody officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12noon until 8pm Wednesday and from 8am until service Thursday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 16, 1919 in Waverly,Tn. daughter of the late William Latimer and Nora Madden Latimer.She was preceded by her husband Garner Knight. Survivors include her son Roy (Jeanie)Knight daughter Helen (Alan) brother Thurman Latimer,grandchildren Carrie(Adam), Jenny (Jason), and Ethan and oone Great grandchild Caleb
