Gladys Marie Bryant, age 91, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Clarksville International Church with Rev. Greg Plummer officiating. Burial will follow at Slayden Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Bryant family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Clarksville International Church and Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Gladys entered into this life on September 8, 1926 in Slayden, TN to the late Marshall and Alvie Baggett Groves.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Bryant, and her son, Dr. Thomas Larry Bryant.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary (Larry) Shelton; grandchildren, Shelby and DeYoung Ensley, and their children; Isaac, Alicia, and Jon; grandchildren, Sonia Holz-Smith and Josh Smith, and their children; Cooper, and Bennett; grandchildren, Chris and Kaci Holz, and their children; Lanora and Eli.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tennova Hospice.
