Gladys Black

Gladys Grice Black, age 98 of Erin, TN, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at her residence.

A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The Black family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon.
Gladys entered this life on September 10, 1921 in Humphreys County, TN, daughter to the late Coleman and Cora Grice. Gladys was a faithful member of Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Lee Black; grandson, Daryl Lackey; siblings, Elizabeth Gwin, Willie Ruth Madden, Archie Grice, Mae Fortner, Betty Pearl Grice, Susie Hollis, Jean Tomlinson, Peggy Fulton, Billy Grice, Buddy Joe Grice and Juanita Mullinax.

Survivors include her loving children, Jerry (Robin) Black, Donnie Black, Phyllis Black (Billy) Webb, and sister, Doris Williams. Gladys also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jeremy Black, Carey W. (Jamie) Booth, Micah Black, Melanie B. Chaffin, Piper Black, Austin Black; great-grandchildren, Madison Black, Will Black, Allie Black, Ansley Black, Maddox Black, Alex Taylor, Parker Chaffin, Cooper Black and Hayden Bruin.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
