Gisela James, age 70, of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Wilson Green subdivision clubhouse, located at 100 Turnberry Circle Clarksville, TN 37043. The memorial gathering will conclude at 5 p.m.
Gisela entered this life on September 14, 1948 in Nuremberg, Germany and spent her early life growing up there along with her eight sisters and four brothers. She loved spending time with family and especially her grandkids.
In addition to her parents Martin and Margaret Seger, she is preceded in death by her husband, Doff James.
Survivors include her children, Ihle (Donna) James, David (Ronalda) James, and Julia (Scott) Raybuck, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved four-legged friend, Marley.
Gisela’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Vanderbilt Medical Center North, Round Wing and to AseraCare Hospice for their superb care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be made online at www.NaveFuneralHomes.com.
