Gillum C. Scott, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at TriStar Ashland City Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The Scott family will receive friends Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
Gillum entered into this life on May 9, 1928, in Montgomery County, TN son of the late Sidney and Esther Gillum Scott. He was employed for 30 years at Ft. Campbell. Gillum was a Christian man who loved hunting, fishing and boating. He was an avid outdoors man. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Pearl Nicks Scott.
Survivors include his sons,John (Paulette) Scott, David (Rhonda) Scott, Jerry (Brenda) Scott, ; brother, Larry (Barbara) Scott; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and five step- great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
