Gertrud Hawkins

Gertrud Paula Hawkins, age 84 of Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Monday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Gertrud entered this life on May 30, 1938 in Munich, Germany to the late Wilhem and Anna Schmidt Besenhard. She was a retired bookkeeper from Grandpa’s Outdoors.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Jean Hawkins.
Survivors include her sons, Siegfried (Dianne) Hawkins, and Raymond (Heidi) Hawkins; grandchildren, Waylon (Chynna) Hawkins, Summer (Brandon) Weiher, and Adam Lee Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Jackson Hawkins, Ellie Hawkins, Alexander Weiher, and Andrew Weiher, and sister, Annalese Wagner.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to sincerely thank Tennessee State Veteran’s Home and their staff for the love and care provided to Mrs. Hawkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
