German Carranza

German Orlando Carranza, age 68, passed away on February 2, 2025, in Clarksville, Tennessee, following an extended illness with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Born on October 7, 1956, in Bogotá, Colombia, he lived a life marked by both professional dedication and personal quietude.

German was well-regarded for his expertise as a licensed electrician. Those who knew him understood that beneath his quiet exterior lay a profoundly intelligent mind, one that appreciated both the nuances of his craft and the strategies of a good game of chess, which he enjoyed from time to time.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Carranza, and his two sisters, Patty Dominguez and Connie Piedrahita. German's family provided him with steadfast support throughout his life, and their bonds were a source of strength for him in his later years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Ligia Carranza, and his brother, Gustavo Carranza.

German Carranza will be remembered fondly for his gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to his profession and family. His legacy of kindness and quiet wisdom will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. No public services will be held.
