Gerald Wayne Lomax

Gerald “Wayne” Lomax, age 74 of Dickson, TN, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Horizon Medical Center. 

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2024 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Cathey officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

 The Lomax family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday morning at the funeral home. 

 Wayne entered this life on February 23, 1950 in Erin, TN, son to the late Houston and Colleen Lomax. Wayne faithfully served his country in the United States Army and proudly served his community as a city councilman for the City of Burns. Wayne was a talented mechanic who loved to fish in his spare time. However, his true passion in life was his family; he will be greatly missed.

 In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Danielle; and brother, Terry Lomax. 

 Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia Lomax; children, Wayna (Fermin) Esquibel, Charresa Cathey; siblings, Donnie (Scarlette) Lomax, Kay Simmons, and Theresa Glidden. Wayne also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Cloe Garcia, Lilly Cathey, Tristan Cathey, Keira Esquibel, Nate Esquibel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
