Georgie Estelle Tefft Howell, age 93 of Erin, TN, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on April 9, 1928 in Owl Hollow, Erin, TN, daughter to the late George Alonzo Tefft and Ruby Estelle Madden Tefft. Georgie was a member of Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church for many years.
Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home in Erin. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The Howell family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at noon.
In addition to her parents and siblings, Georgie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Howell, and son, Teddy Richard Howell.
Survivors include her loving son, Freddie (Dianna) Howell; daughter in law, Norma Howell; siblings, Carmon (Fay) Tefft, Joan (Carl) Hamilton; grandchildren, Jessica Howell, Kristy (Leo) Veliz, Tad (Donna) Howell; great-grandchildren, Samantha Veliz, Johnny Veliz, Summer Veliz, great great-grandchild, Chance Veliz and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
