Georgia Edlin

Georgia Gertrude Edlin, 91, Erin, died Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Patients Choice Medical Center, Erin. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patrick Woolsey officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Georgia was born October 8, 1918 in Houston County, TN, daughter of George Luther and Betty Fowler Finch. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John R. Edlin, brothers William (Bill) Finch, Anderson Finch, Roy Finch, Haskel Finch, Boyd Finch, John Finch, and Kirby Finch, and sisters Eva Robertson and Jewell Cox. She was a homemaker, a farmer, and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son George (Bobby) Edlin and his wife Linda of Huntsville, AL, grandchildren Lisa Freed, Keith Edlin, and Dawn Gilbert, and six great-grandchildren.
