Georgia Arlene Crockett, age 78 of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on May 5, 2014 at her residence.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 AM Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Billy Wall and David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Crockett Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 and from 9 AM until the hour of service on Thursday.
Georgia entered this life on May, 18, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Grandville Plez and Maggie Brown. She worked as a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in in death by her sisters, Marylene Maxwell, Marie Black, Jean Johnson; Brothers, Junior Brown, Henry Brown, and Tom Brown; son, Thomas Crockett.
She is survived by sons, Rocky (Joanne) Crockett, Mark (Joyce) Crockett, Johnny (Becky) Crockett; daughters, Lettie Dale (Jim) Harrison; step daughters, Penny (Stephen) Deloach, and Mathlia (Bill) Morris; stepson, Bo (Betsy) Perry; brother, Bill (Alice) Brown; grandchildren, Jerry Akins, Jason Cook, Tommy Crockett Jr., Elaine (Gary) Byard, Jamie and Emie Crockett; step-grandchildren, Wesley Walton, Jessica Warren, Justin Perry, Brandon Perry, Audri Perry, Samantha Perry, Bo Perry Jr., Melinda Reynolds, and Jonathan Walton; 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
