George Lewis Wilson, age 70 of Clarksville passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017.
Celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. BJ Brack officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will 5:30-7:30 on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home.
George was born on April 18, 1947 in Dover TN, son to the late Clinton Simms Wilson and Effie Lee Norfleet.
He was retired from the Civil Service at Ft. Campbell, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Burgess Wilson; sons, Aaron Wilson (Sarah) and Bryan Wilson; sisters, Ella Byrd, Jane McGregor and Mary Bowles; and his grandchild, Evelyn Claire Wilson.
Pallbearers will be; Ralph Shelton, Jerry Shepherd, Gary Knight, Tony Knight, Keith McGregor, and Eric McGregor.
