George Tanner

George Ronald Tanner, age 73 of Erin, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
George entered this life on August 9, 1943 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Alfred and Hattie Rogers Tanner. George was a lifelong resident of Houston County, TN. After high school, George proudly served his country in the United States Army where he fought in the Korean War. George had a love for playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his loving wife, Valerie Tanner; son, James Tanner; brother, Darryl Tanner; and sister, Carol Tanner.
Survivors include his daughters, April Marie Tanner, Susan Carol Tanner; sons, Jamie Lloyd Tanner, Alfred Tanner (Karie), Richard Paul Tanner (Alice); brothers, Troy Tanner, and Ricky Tanner. George also leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Tyler James Mcleod, Austin Thomas Tanner, and Sean Lee Tanner.
There are no services planned at this time as George’s wishes were to be cremated.
