George "Herbert" Lyle

George “Herbert” Lyle, Jr was born August 26, 1942 in Houston County, to the late George Herbert Lyle, Sr and Amy Williams Lyle. He departed this life on Monday, January 2, 2023 at his home in Erin, TN.
Herbert attended W. H. Hensley Junior High School in Houston County. He was a faithful member of Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Erin, TN where he was loved and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Joan.
He leaves to mourn, but not to forget him, three children, Greta Sriviboon of Bothell, WA, Gerald (Hideko) Lyle of Poulsbo, WA, Jessica Lyle of Erin, TN; two sisters, Imojean Scott of Indianapolis, IN and Stella Keesee of Grayson, GA; three nephews, Reginald (Kasi)Tiller, Wayne Tiller, Stuart Scott; one niece, Gina Chante Scott; he also leaves to mourn four grandchildren, Kabal Sriviboon, Essence (Jeremy) Hummel, Promise Lyle, Baccari Lyle; three beloved great grandchildren, Isaiah, Gage, and Cheyenne; four great nieces and nephews, DeMarcus Jackson, Korrie Estes, Hayden Tiller, Zeza Tiller; loving step children and grandchildren; a host of friends and extended family.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Church Family and friends will serve as Floral Bearers
Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January14, 2023 at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Erin Community Cemetery in Erin, TN. The Lyle family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
