George Swift Harris, age 95, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
Loving father of Ronnie Harris, Greg Harris and Roger (Pam) Harris. Dearest grandfather of Chris, Cory and George. Dear great grandfather of Christopher Swift.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Harris, and all of his siblings.
George was a Navy Veteran and a proud member of the Free Mason, VFW Bruce Post, and the American Legion. He will be remembered by loved ones for always doing what was right.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Southside United Methodist Church with Rev. Craig Tate officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Southside Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 19, 2020, from 4-7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, and again on Friday, November 20, 2020, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southside Cemetery Association at 4780 Chapel Hill Road, Southside, TN 37171.
