George Dennis

Geroge Andrew Dennis, age 77 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Stone Crest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in McDonald Cemetery.
The Dennis family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon.
Big George entered this life on April 30th, 1944 in Houston County, TN, son to the late John and Pearl Dennis.
In addition to his parents, Big George was preceded in death by his grandson, John Nicholas Seay; brother in law, Roger Boone; and sister in laws, Melissa Bush and Tillie Dennis.
In addition to his loving wife Shelia Dennis, of 49 years, Big George leaves behind his sons; George Dennis Jr. (Sherri), George Dennis (Kayla), and Zachary Dennis. He also leaves behind his daughters; Shawna Seay (John), Teresa Cox (Howard), as well as grandchildren; Caitlin Miller (Jason), Macey Harris (Marty), Seth Dennis (Shelby), Tyler Rye (Nikki) and Ryan Rye. He will also be missed by his great-grandchildren, Braxton Dennis, Raelynn Cooksey, Ellie Dennis, Wyatt Harris, Kacelynn Rye, Mallory Rye, Zachary Miller, Kelsey Miller, Macie Miller, and Bradley Miller. Big George will also be missed by his loving siblings; John Dennis, Tommy Dennis (Mary Jo), Kenneth Dennis (Faye), Ronnie Dennis (Cheryl), Donnie Dennis (Susan), Kathy Lowe (Gary), Sandy Steele (Chuck), Gerald Boone, Steven Boone (Donna), Karen Vanzant, Sherri Cook, and Chris Boone.

Serving as Pallbearers will be George Dennis Jr., George Dennis, Zachary Dennis, Jason Miller, Seth Dennis, Ronnie Dennis, Jeremy Dennis Darian Dennis and Jimmy Bass. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be John-Nicholas Seay, John Seay, Braxton Dennis, Wyatt Harris, Tyler Rye, Gerlad Boone Jr., Jacob Bush, Matt Vanzant, Ryan Rye, and Shawn Dennis.
