George Benjamin Chambers, 54 of Clarksville, passed away at his home on Monday, December 14, 2015.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at Maranatha Baptist Church with Dr. Dave Noffsinger officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the church.
George was born December 12, 1961 in New York, NY, the son of the late Reverend Frisby Chambers and Margaret Moore Chambers. George is a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he earned the rank of an E-6. He worked as a warehouse specialist for JanTec. He was the song leader and choir director at Maranatha Baptist Church.
He leaves behind his wife, Angela Witt Chambers; children, Shalena Denise Chambers, Alexia “Lexi” Simone Adkins, Arielle Ann Chambers, Adam Benjamin Chambers, Bethany Kaylarose Chambers, and Charity Grace Chambers; brothers, Lyn Sky Chambers and Bruce Edward Chambers; grandchildren, Demarco Mauge’, Marcel “Marc” Mauge’, Sariah Symone Adkins, and Liana Anise Adkins; step mother, Ruby Chambers; step brothers, Cammie Kitchens, Carnell Kitchens, and Carvette Kitchens.
Pallbearers will be members of the Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Chambers and Lyn Chambers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church.
