Genone Wilson Spangenberger, age 77, of Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Genone entered this life on August 1, 1945 in Carksville, TN to the late Robert Lee Bumpus and Atha Hayes Johnson. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. Genone had formerly worked for Mitchells Formal Wear, Parks Belk, and Gordons Jewelry Store.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nichole Dempsey.
She is survived by her loving husband, Claude Spangenberger; sons, Michael Wilson and his wife, Jackie, Keith Wilson, and his wife, Elysia; grandchildren, Aaron Wilson, Justin Wilson, and Austin Wilson. Genone also leaves behind her sister, Vonnell Allensworth.
Memorial donations may be made to Hilldale Baptist Church.
