Gene Powell, age 69 of Erin, TN, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at his home in Erin.
A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray and Bro. Mike Mealer officiating.
The Powell family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon at the Funeral Home.
Gene entered this life on August 19, 1950 in Stewart County, TN, son to the late John Powell and Shirley Dunaway Powell.
He is survived by his loving wife Rosie Powell. He also leaves behind his son Dawayne Powell and daughter Frances Reed, as well as one sibling, Rebecca Welker. Gene will also be missed by six loving grandchildren.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Hartman Reed, Jayce Powell, Dillon Spears, Paul Varden Jr., Jessie Massie, William Schmidt, Joseph Harris, Danny Dunaway, Charles Kirkland and Van Harper.
