Gene Fox

Gene Fox, 78, Cumberland City, died Monday, May 24, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 a.m. Friday at Nave Funeral Home, Erin. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Fox was born January 2, 1932 in Winchester, KY, son of the late Elijah Fox and America Fletcher Fox. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Survivors include his wife Cara Lee Fox of Cumberland City, son Brian Fox of Erin, daughters Carlene Fox of Gallatin, TN, Loranne Holmes of Tennessee Ridge, Dawn Fox of Houston County, TN, Sara Hammett of Spartanburg, SC, brother Jilson Fox of Florida, sister Paralee Martin of Indiana, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
