Gearldine Belle Wolard

Gearldine Belle Wolard, age 77 of Clarksville, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 7, 2024. 

Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The Wolard family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

Belle was born on September 23, 1946, in Erin, TN, daughter of the late Forest and Rhoda Rye. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Belle enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips to the mountains with them. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Eddie Rye and sister, Eda Ruth Rye. 

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 61 years Donald Edward Wolard; son, Jerry (Suzanne) Wolard; daughter, Lisa (Lynn) Hill; brothers, Jackie Rye and Danny Rye; sisters, Judy Byard, Linda Austin, Wanda McWhorter, Brenda Reynolds, Gail Schmidt, and Janet Stone; grandchildren, Scott(April) Hill, Tyler ( Alyssa) Hill, Carlyn (Nick) James, and Cade Wolard; great grandchildren, Brayden Hill and Brenna Hill. 

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
