Gary Hightshoe, 67, Clarksville, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Music/Mass Communications Concert Hall at Austin Peay State University. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the Music/Mass Communications Concert Hall at Austin Peay State University. The remains are to be cremated. He was born September 15, 1942 in Austin, MN and was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Sarah Clark Hightshoe; sister, Dee Hobson; nephew-in-law, Bill Danielson. Mr. Hightshoe was retired from Precision Printing and Packaging where he was the Human Resources Manager. He was instrumental in the start up of Josten's and International Label Company. He had been active in Leadership Clarksville since 1988 and was an active volunteer in numerous Clarksville organizations and was a recepient of the Outstanding Industrial Leader Award. He loved the city of Clarksville and touched many lives. He is survived by his wife, Janice Timberlake Hightshoe, Clarksville; son, Lake (Julie) Hightshoe, TX; brother, Doug (Janet) Hightshoe, MN; nephew, Eddie (Amy) Hightshoe, MN; nieces, Kelli (Paul) Hughes, MN, Jenna (Jamie) Steffel, SD, Stacy (Jeremy) Lindsmeier, MN, Kim Danielson, MN.
