Gary was born on August 5, 1946 in St. Louis Park, MN to the late Frances Dols and Muriel Barnes Dols. He was a U.S. Airforce Veteran and an electronic tech.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Dols and survived by his daughters, Traci (Jeff) Stedman and Jaimi Aarnes; son, Shawn Dols; brother, James Dols; grandchildren, Gretchen Stedman, Stephanie Aarnes, Collin Stedman, Rachael Stedman, Ariel Dols, and Ian Dols; great-grandchildren, Michael Stedman and Jayden Aarnes.
