Gary Couch

Gary Lee Couch, 68, Clarksville, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his residence. A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Revs. Skip Armstead and Wanda Burchett officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home. He was born September 14, 1942 in Jewett, OH and was the son of the late Roy and Frances Brown Couch. Mr. Couch was retired from the U.S. Navy and The Leaf Chronicle; he was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church, life time member of VFW, and loved Harley Davidson Motorcylces. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Woodland Couch; daughters, Mary Angelia Tipton, Vanleer, TN, Jacqueline Renee Couch, Clarksville; son-in-law, Matt Tipton, Vanleer, TN; sisters, Anita Weeda, Linda Paul, both of Ohio; grandchildren, Ashley Tipton, Samantha Tipton, Zachary Tipton, Alexis Wimberly; and special friend, Antonio Bueno, Clarksville.
