G W Wyatt 73 of Clarksville, went to be with his Lord Thursday, October 12, 2017.
A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Clifty Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
G W was born November 10, 1943 in Memphis, TN son of the late, G W Wyatt and Charlene Barnes Wyatt Pruitte. He was a former employee of Jay Garment Company, Kmart and Sykes Funeral Home. G W was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Craig and a sister, Wanda Faye Bruce.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia Ellis Petrie Wyatt; son, Jodie Wyatt; daughters, Margaret (Ricky) Young, Robin (Richard) Smith and Tracy Wyatt; grandchildren, Steven (Dana) Young, Alexys and Breana Smith; brother, Jerry Wayne Pruitte and his sister, Merylon Pruitte.
Pallbearers will be, Richard Smith, Trey Quintas, Will Thralls, Kirby Perry, Tanner Wyatt and Mel Denish.
In Lieu of flowers they family ask that contributions be made to the American Parkinson Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305 or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 214 Overlook Circle, Brentwood, TN 37027.
