Fronie Mae Allen, age 87 of Oakwood Community passed away May 16, 2017.
Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Jodie Kilburn and Dr. Ted Denny officiating, burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Fronie was born on May 13, 1930, daughter of the late Jesse Hutchison and Mammie Thomas Hutchison.
She was a member of First Baptist Church Woodlwan and Senior Citizens. Fronie enjoyed playing Rook and dancing at the Senior Citizens Center.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Gordon “Cap” Allen.
Survivors include her children; Richard (Wanda) Allen, Dona (Shannon) Tillman, Joseph (Susan) Allen; grandchildren, Paul (Sarah) Ray, Beth (Michael) Hill, Amy Travis; and 4 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Walter Leslie, Hal Tracey, Don Gillihan, Dean Hutchison, Greg Hutchison, and Mike Hutchison.
Memorials made be made to Ajax Turner Senior Citizens Center.
