Freddie Parchman

Freddie Weakley Parchman, age 74 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away December 30, 2022 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Springhill Church with Pastor Brian Henley officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery.
The Parchman family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home and again from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon at the church.
Freddie entered this life on May 28, 1948 in Houston County, TN, son to the late George and Edwene Parchman. Freddie was a lifelong member of Springhill Church and was a devoted hardworking farmer who aided and assisted in day-to-day agriculture throughout Houston County. Freddie was always willing to lend a hand, and help anyone in the community. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by his step-granddaughter, Ashlyn Nichole Blackwood.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda Parchman; step-children, Vicki (Charles) Smith, Phillip Blackwood and Timothy (Amy) Blackwood. Freddie also leaves behind numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Rye, Evan Parchman, Terry Beard, Dean Parchman, Freddie Lyle, and Carter Cary.
