Fred Waynick, 86, Clarksville, died Monday, March 24, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 17, 1921 in Montgomery County the son of Frank and Fannie Bryant Waynick. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Rushie Collier. Mr. Waynick was retired from Trane Company and a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Stanfill Waynick, Clarksville; son, Jackie Waynick, Clarksville; daughters, Rachel Rushing, Clarksville, Jone McGovern, Clarksville, Janet Petrovich, Seattle, Wash.; brothers, Glen Waynick, Springfield, G.C. Waynick, Woodlawn, Allen Waynick, Indian Mound; sister, Myrtle Bowers, Woodlawn; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe Bilyeu, Charles Rushing, Teddy McGovern, Larry Petrovich, Wayne Bowers and Eddie Heflin.
