Fred Haro

Fred Jessie Haro, age 98 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at his home, while surrounded by family.

Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2023, at The Tanglewood House, 1601 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040. Pastor Kevin Moore, Steve Nicholson, and Leo Milan will be officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at Tanglewood House.

Fred entered this life on November 24, 1924, in Zacatecas, Mexico to the late Leopoldina Lopez Haro and Jose M. Haro. He was a member of and enjoyed fellowship at LifePoint Church. Fred was also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and enjoyed volunteering with the jail ministry. In his spare time, you could find him fishing, playing cards or dominos. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who valued time with his family and the Lord above anything else.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Doug Haro, and Leland Haro.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Venturi Haro; children, Greg Haro, Daniel Scoggins,  Rhonda Wetzel, and Dawn Woldridge; grandchildren, Chris Haro, Tiffany Dominguez, Lisa Tolman, Wendy Wolfrey, Brannon Haro, Jason Haro, Michael Wetzel, Christina VanSciver, Brian Wetzel, Sara Golden, Scotty Scoggins, Justin Scoggins, and Cassie Taylor; 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
