Fred Groce

Fred Groce, 89, Southside, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Bob Hunt Funeral Home in Cave City, Kentucky. Burial will be in Glasgow Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, Kentucky. Fred was born December 4, 1921 in Burksville, Kentucky, son of Sampson and Edna Riddle Groce. He was a WWII Army veteran and was retired from the construction and farming industries. He was preceded in death by his wife, Adra Cornette Groce. Survivors include his daughter Gwendevere (Glenn) Gibbs of Southside, and sons Ronnie Groce, Donnie Groce, and Frank Groce, all of Kentucky. Online condolences may be made at www.NaveFuneralHomes.com.
