Fred Dodson

Fred Morgan Dodson, age 94 of Erin, TN, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Tennessee Ridge Baptist Church with Pastors Dennis Kirk and Stephen Cathy officiating.
The Dodson family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon at the church.
Fred entered this life on February 22, 1927 in Sparta, TN. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a WW11 veteran. Fred was a Godly man who loved his savior, family, country and church. He was a devoted member of Tennessee Ridge Baptist Church and a staple in his community. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Faye Dodson, and numerous siblings including his brother Leon Dodson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Dodson; children, Roy (Jeannine) Dodson, Daniel (Cindy) Dodson, Jackie (Vernual) Mitchell, Sue (Michael) Richardson, and Judy (Bob) Oetter. Fred also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren,
