Franklin Dee Baggett, 66, Palmyra, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Revs. Bobby Kail and Michael Kontz officiating. Burial will be in Baggett's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Franklin was born April 26, 1945 in Montgomery County, TN, son of William Thomas and Polly Kelly Baggett. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed maintaining his yard and going to flea markets.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, W.G. Baggett and his sisters, Imogene Johnson, Mina Bee Leftwich, Retha Hutchison, and Grace Hutchison
Survivors include his wife, Margie Ferrell Baggett of Palmyra, daughters, Robbie (Greg) Green of Cumberland Furnace and Cassie (Steven) Burton of Woodlawn, brothers, Earl Baggett of Clarksville, Lurton Baggett of Ashland City, and Donald Baggett of Joelton, sister, Anna Baskett of Madison, TN, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Members of the family will serve as pallbearers.
