Frank Gibbs

Frank Gibbs, 87 of Clarksville passed away on August 10, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be at 12 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Carolyn Nobling officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. The Gibbs family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Gibbs was born on September 15, 1934 in Clarksville, TN; son of the late Burton and L Freda Gibbs. Frank retired after 30 plus years from ACME Boot Company, after retirement he worked at Sams Club for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, grilling and baking cakes and pies.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Wright Gibbs; son, Kenneth Gibbs; siblings, Jack Gibbs, Charles Gibbs, and Faye Biter.

Survivors include; son, Ronnie (Jennifer) Gibbs; daughters, Sandra Russell, Sue (Ken) Duncan; grandchildren, Angela Cobb, Richard Russell, Robert Russell, Ryan Russell, Amanda Wollum and Jason Fletcher; and nineteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Dowdy, Robert Russell, Richard Russell, Ryan Russell, Jason Fletcher, Darrell Gibbs, and Billy Parker.
