It is with a deep sense of sorrow that his sons: Blaise E., Francis P., Christopher M.; their wives Jean, Kathy, and Anna; his grandchildren: Gina, Maria, Christina, Theresa, Blaise M. and Michael F.; and his two great grandchildren, announce the death of their father and grandfather on Sunday, February 26, 2012. F.P. (Franc) Ferraraccio was buried with a private ceremony at Sango Cemetery on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.
In memory of his fellow pilots, who went down in the jungles of Burma and the Himalayan mountains of China during WWII; It was his request that his death occur as anonymous as it was for those airmen, whose remains were left to the ravages of nature without appropriate burial.
A Memorial will be celebrated in his memory at Immaculate Conception Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Veterans Airlift Command at VeteransAirlift.org
