Frances “Carlene” Seay, age 93 of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
A celebration of her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Hagler Cemetery.
The Seay family will receive from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon.
Carlene entered this life on June 9, 1925 in Erin, TN, daughter to the late Robert and Annie Ross Taylor. Carlene also known as Momma Seay, was a faithful member and Elder of Erin Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, Carlene was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Julian Ray “Rip” Seay; son, Frederick Ray Seay; brothers, Frederick Carl Taylor, and Albert Isaac Taylor.
Carlene leaves behind her loving children, Deborah Adams, Michael and wife Dee Seay; grandchildren, Stephen Seay, Aaron “Bubba” Seay, Andrea Seay, and grandchildren, Maggie Jo, Nolas Seay, John J. Wilson, and two great great grandchildren Makenna, and Callen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethesda Community Mission, P.O. Box 342, Erin, TN, 37061
