Frances Rogers

Mrs. Frances Ophelia Rogers, age 85, of Erin, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 04, 2015 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. William Lyle officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Frances entered this life on November 28, 1929 in Houston County, TN, daughter of the late William Nolen and Lottie Harris Parker. Frances taught in the Houston County School System for 30 years, and was a member of the Erin Church of Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her brother, Landy Parker, and sister, Bernice Lyle.
Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Dalton Rogers; son, Steven (Glenda) Rogers; daughter, Teresa (Glen) Shippy; brothers, Charles Parker, Vernon Parker, Billy Parker; sister, Susie Toney; and four grandchildren, Murphy Rogers, Sarah Rogers, Meleigh Shippy, and Ben Shippy.
Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Parker, Chris Parker, Eddie Parker, Randy Toney, Ben Shippy, Darren Parker, Tim Parker, and Murphy Rogers.
