Frances Blair

Mrs. Frances Sykes Blair, age 92 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Sis Faye Winstead and Bro Larry Mccauley officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Hutchens family cemetery.
The Sykes family will receive friends on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
Frances entered this life on January 23, 1924 in Tennessee Ridge, TN, daughter to the late E.R. Hutchens and Nancy Cloda Barnes. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, and a lifelong resident of Tennessee Ridge, TN
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her sons, Tommie Sykes, and Frankie Sykes.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Seay (Jerry), Nancy Parker, Nina McGinnis; sons, Dickie Sykes (Barbara), Eddie Sykes (Inez), Freddie Sykes (Carolyn), sixteen grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethesda Mission in Erin, TN, or a favorite charity of choice.
