Frances Caroll Besser, age 81 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at her residence.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Kenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Eads officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday at the church.
Frances was born on February 23, 1934 in Covington, VA, the daughter of Thomas Edward Horton and Watson Kelly Horton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Fredrick Besser Jr. She was a homemaker and a member of Kenwood Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Joseph Curtis Webber; daughters, Kathy Tucker Begay, Linda Darnell, and Susan Rayman; sisters, Eva Ann Rickett and Reba Virginia Champion; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Randy Darnell Sr., Randy Darnell Jr., James Cayan, James Rayman, Jim Bingerman Sr., Jim Bingerman Jr., Bobby Gill, and Devin Mase.
