Floyd Raines

Floyd Alvah Raines, Jr. age 72, of Clarksville, TN passed away Monday, November 14, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Floyd entered this life on March 2, 1950, in Nashville, TN to the late Floyd Raines, Sr. and Clara B Hedgecath Raines. He was retired from The United States Army after 20 plus years of dedicated service. While in the Military, Floyd achieved the Army Service Ribbon, Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Valorous Unit Award, and the National Defense Service Medal. Floyd enjoyed politics, watching movies, especially westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kim Hung Sun Raines; sons, James (Kimberly) Raines and Jason (Miriam) Raines; siblings, Jerry Raines, and Ray Holloway; grandchildren, Michaela, Carter, Abigail, Fischer, Ethan, and Faith. Floyd also leaves behind his dear friends, Ernie and Hacha Woods, and Lee England.
