Florence C. Coates, 79, Clarksville, died Monday, September 22, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery, Brandon, FL. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon, FL at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Excell Baptist Church.McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born December 26, 1928 in Philladelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Ellis and Anna Getty Cull. Mrs. Coates was a homemaker and a member of Excell Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Bob Coates, Clarksville; sons, Thomas Paul Conner, Philadelphia, PA, Robert E. Coates Jr., Clarksville; daughter, Diane Louise Wright, Riverview, FL; brother, Allen Wayne Struensee, Denver, CO; eleven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
