Faye Tomlinson

Faye Tomlinson, age 84 of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. David Steppee and Bro. Richard Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Ben Brown Cemetery.
The Tomlinson family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon at the funeral home.
Faye entered this life on May 29, 1934 in Norman, OK, daughter to the late Carter and Bessie Tanner. Faye was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother to her family, and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Cat Tomlinson; son, Terry Tomlinson; siblings, Willie Ray Tanner, Ewing Tanner, Ruby Self, Lillie Self, and Vergie Tanner.
Survivors include her loving children, Cathey Black, Karen Harris (Ricky), Eddie Tomlinson (Janelle), Rickey Tomlinson (Allison); siblings, Artie Tanner, Shirley Hooper, Gwen Self, Virgil Tanner, Thelma Lewis and Leola Mathis. Faye also leaves behind twenty-one grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Paxton, Joey Reynolds, Greg Hooper, James Tomlinson, Carlton Tomlinson, and Ricky Harris II.
