Faye Deason Kelley, age 86, of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away January 9, 2022.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Arlington Cemetery.
Faye entered this life on August 19, 1935 in Erin, TN, daughter to the late George Alonzo and Ruby Tefft. Faye was a lifelong resident of Houston County and attended Elk Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She loved quilting camping, nature, travel, playing cards and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her siblings, Bonnie Crain, Betty Key, Roberta Jones, Gayle Simpson, Nancy Meadow, Doy and Roy Tefft.
Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Kelley; children, Gay (Pat) Robinson, Gray (Tonya) Deason, Clay (Melinda) Deason, Shay (Cathy) Deason; step-children, Ladd (Lynn Marie) Kelley, Lynn (Eric) Napier, Leslie Kelley; siblings, Georgie Howell, Carmon Tefft and Joan Hamilton. Faye also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express many thanks for the compassionate care provided by Tennova Home Health and Tennessee Quality Hospice, and a special thank you to Karen Meadow for truly going above and beyond.
