Ewing Beechum

Ewing Thomas “Tom” Beechum, age 96 of Erin, TN, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastor JT Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in McMillian Cemetery.
The Beechum family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon at the funeral home.
Tom entered this life on April 30, 1922 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Lenord and Lizzie Beechum. Tom was a lifelong resident of Houston County and retired from L&N Railroad after 25 years of service. Tom also faithfully worked 17 years as the custodian for the City of Erin.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Beechum; children, Donnie Beechum, Brenda Beechum; siblings, James Beechum, Ruby Parrott, Louise Parott, Johnny Beechum, Elizabeth Herrington; grandchildren, Kevin Beechum, Jason Beechum, and son in law, Jessie Baggett.
Survivors include his loving children, Tommy (Carolyn) Beechum, Pasty (Donald) Adams, Jerry (Loraine) Beechum, Glenda Baggett, Wayne (Patricia) Beechum, and Darlene Beechum. Tom also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and six great great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Alec Lowe, Sean Lowe, Ethan Lowe, Seth Roper, Donnie Beechum, Jacob Bryant, Stacy Beechum, and Jimmy Bass.
