Evelyn Lucille Walpole, age 78, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Evelyn entered this life on June 4, 1935 in Alexandria, Indiana, daughter of Julius and Audrey Derstler Ball. She was a former manager of Bookland Book Store.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Elton Walpole. She is survived by her daughter, Melody Walls of Clarksville and her grandson, Brandon Williams and wife Jennie of Little Rock, Arkansas.
