Evelyn Rae Godfrey, age 76, of Cumberland Furnace, TN, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Centennial Hospital.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Chapel with Bro. Richard Hughes officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born July 1, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio daughter of the late, Orin and Erma Peterson Wright. She was a retired School Nurse Assitant and a member of the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Donald Godfrey, and her daughter, Lori Gustafson.
Survivors include her son, Blaine David Godfrey of Cumberland Furnace; brothers, Paul Wright of Clarksville and Neal Wright of Fairview, PA; grandsons, Joseph Brockett and Jack Weatherlow; and great-grandson, Brice Brockett.
