Eva Sue Tinsley, age 87, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023.
A private family service will be held.
Eva entered this life on November 8, 1935 in Memphis, TN to the late James and Margaret Deese. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hicks.
Survivors include her sons, James (Lisa) Hicks, and Richard (Joyce) Hicks; daughter, Sherry Davis; grandchildren, Star Chapman, Mitchell Hicks, Matthew Hicks, and Trinity Kendell, eight great-grandchildren, and siblings, Jimmy Deese, Mary Searcy, Judy Williams, and Anita Stone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bellevue Baptist Church.
