Eva Maria Mercer, 82, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. B.J. Brack officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Eva was born August 1, 1930 in Frankfort, Germany and came to the United States in 1954 on the Simon Buckner Ship. She was an employee of the PX at Fort Campbell, a volunteer for the Meals-On-Wheels program, and a member of New Providence United Methodist Church. She enjoyed family time, board games and church events.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Mercer. Survivors include her sons, Ed Suckfiel of Woodbridge, VA, Frank Stout of Clarksville, David Stout and wife Kimberly of Clarksville, Carlton Mercer Jr. and wife Vickie, of Smyrna, TN; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
